I’m Shilo – a middle aged, mom of three, with a love for knitting, and a bigger love for yarn. I’ve been a knitter for over ten years after teaching myself using books and online videos. I have tried to crochet a few times but find a hook far more challenging than needles. I have even tried drop spinning a time or two! I knit all kinds of things, but usually stay away from socks (unless someone specifically requests them). My favorite things to knit are cowls and hats. My mom ends up with all the sweaters I knit because I don’t like how they fit me… if I finish them. Finishing project is not my strength, but I really like starting them!
I like bright colors, unicorns, naps, music, true crime, yarn, and books more than most anything else in the world. My favorite color is rainbow. I have a slight obsession with project bags, steel water bottles, mugs, and coffee with flavored creamers. I also enjoy paper crafts, like making cards and scrapbooking. I watch Hallmark Christmas movies, true crime documentaries, and different series shows.
